Your flight into Costa Rica will land at San Jose International Airport where one of the guides will welcome you on your way out. From there, you will travel westward by luxury coach through the beautiful Costa Rican countryside. About two hours later you'll reach the lovely Pacific port town of Puntarenas. There, you will board Barcelo's "Tambor Princess", the luxury ferry which will sail you across the enchanting Gulf of Nicoya to the fishing village of Paquera (approx. 1 hour). From Paquera, you will continue southward in the luxury coach through tropical landscapes (approx. 30 minutes) and there ... you will be welcome by the glorious Playa Tambor Beach Resort!!

You also have the option of flying by small aircraft from San Jose to Playa Tambor and back - about twenty minutes each way.
