Dear Carlos,

We wanted to thank you for putting together such an incredible vacation for us in Costa Rica.

When we called some months ago and requested a trip that would be a good introduction to this varied country, you couldn’t have done a better job.  The itinerary not only took us to remote and wild Casa Corcovado where we hiked in a real rain forest, swam with turtles and near dolphins, but also to so many other locations.

For me, the Monteverde Cloud forest was a highlight, hiking under the canopy and riding cables above it.  Travis especially liked this, but the whitewater rafting down the Pacuare River was a close second.

Our guide JorgeMontero from Valle Dorado was really something special.  His knowledge was not limited to where he was guiding (he did a superb job) , but also he gave us different perspectives on Costa Rica and the United States, politically and culturally. He added to our experience tremendously! We will be planning another trip to Latin America, and we recommend your organization to anyone interested in going off the beaten track and experiencing the culture.

Thank very much again.

Most Sincerely,

Dear Carlos,

What a fantastic trip!

I appreciate all you did in working with me to make it a wonderful trip for us. My husband was truely surprised and overwhelmed. As a matter of fact he said it was humbling that we had gone to so much trouble for him. Your planning was great. Everything was so easy, from picking us and then the kids up at the airport, the budget rep came to our hotel with the car, led us out of town so we would get on the right road (his name was Harry) and he was at Budget when we returned the car.

It was so convenient to stay at the Garden Court (not Hampton Inn which is next door) at the airport and drop the car down the street. It was nice to have some of our meals and activities included so I didn't have lots of charges when I got home.

The hotels were beautiful, particularly the Mariposa. More importantly, the people were friendly and a delight to talk to. The people who knew you had nothing but compliments about you as a person and as a travel specialist. I think the hotel manager in Monteverde grew up with you.

Also, Irene was very helpful. Thank her for me.

The beaches in MAnuel Antonio Reserve were pristine, beautiful and few people there. I was walking on the beach and looked around and there was a white tailed deer next to me. I found out her name was Cleo. We also enjoyed the activities on the beach outside the reserve, too. I think Espadilla. We kayaked and boggie boarded and body surfed. There was a local surf contest there our last day which was fun.

We saw lots of birds and animals, quetzels, sloths both 2 and 3 toed, one with a baby, toucans, etc.

I have given your name to 2 people already who want to plan trips this year or next.

We definitely want to return to Costa Rica. Next time see some other areas, particularly Corcovado and maybe the NE when the turtles are hatching or laying eggs. I am so glad we didn't go to Jaco or Tamarindo. Some of the people we meet thought they were too touristy and too built up.

Carlos, if you ever come to Colorado. Mi casa es su casa. I am serious. Please call me.

All the best to you,

Jane

Carlos,

What a great time we had in Costa Rica!

The best part was telling you what we wanted to do and letting you organize it and book it.

Thank you for listening and having such a positive attitude.
